Yet another picture i should've posted a year ago when it was drawn...
Another Yurei. This time its more of a "spiritual" fanart of fatal frame series than before, specifically 2nd game - though i went overboard with "butterfly" theme...
Among villagers, there is a tale that on nights of full moon, or when fog is especially thin, a ghostly figure can be seen among trees, near abandoned houses, or, more often, on rice fields or swamps. Sometimes, red butterflies can be seen before you notice a ghost. There are also tales of people who disappeared, following the trail.
She is like a butterfly, silent and elegant. No name is known, but these who got a chance to take a closer look at the woman and survived, tell that they were under impression that she's always suffering or being tortured. With her hands and feet tied, and kimono ripped apart, it is apparent that she's a victim. Her own hair seem to either shamefully cover her body, or opposite and are tormenting her after death, as if it is not hair at all but some sort of a spirit parasite. What she is searching for, who is she waiting, no one knows. Maybe her spirit will never find a rest.
